We just released our contact API (application program interface). This means that for the first time, you will be able to retrieve your contact data from outside of Spark! Build custom registration forms, sales centre applications, and anything else you can think of.

Create Custom Sales Centre Apps

Imagine a visitor walking into your sales centre and handing them a tablet to fill out their registration. If they’ve visited before, your application could welcome them back. If they’re a realtor, a form could appear allowing them to register their clients. All this can be automatic and synced to your account on Spark with the new API. Contacts will be registered, realtors assigned and sales centre interactions logged. All without having to log in to Spark.

What Information Can You Access?

In the initial release of the API you will be able to:

Create and Update Contacts
List Contacts
List Users
Log Interactions
Assign Agents

How does this all work? We’ve written thorough documentation on how to use the API and included lots of examples. You can view the documentation inside of Spark. If you hire a software developer to build an app for you with our API, you can now add them to Spark as a web developer. This is a guest account which will only have access to your api keys and documentation. We also restrict them from deleting any data from your account.
