Quality of life improvements and demo accounts.

The Spark development team is gearing up for an exciting close to 2018! In the meantime, here are a few of the features we’ve released over the past month. Many of our improvements were intended to help improve our user’s quality of life and ease of use. Reach out and let us know what you think!

Auto-archive Expired Lease Agreements

To make life a little easier for clients who are operating lease projects, we’ve added an update so that when a leased inventory reaches the lease end date, it automatically archives the agreement and restores the unit to an available state. Any team members assigned to that agreement will see a notification in Spark when this happens.

Deposit Payment Methods

Available payment options in Spark.

We’ve added the ability for users to track how the deposits are being paid on each unit. Eventually these will be part of Spark’s reporting feature, allowing users to get a better understanding of their clients’ payment preferences. The options are a preset list — reach out if there are any methods that you’d like to be tracked as well.

Adjusted Sale Price

Purchase versus adjusted price on a unit.

We now show the adjusted sale price (defined as the purchase price minus any discounts) on a contract, and have added the ability to calculate commissions based off of that price.

Registration Form Comments in Emails

Example of an auto-email that triggers from a form fill-out.

If you have notifications or assignments set up on a registration form, the assigned or creating agent will receive an email for all registrations on that form. Previously, that email included the registrant’s contact information and Q&A responses.

Now, if you include the “Comments” section in your form, any comments the contact made while registering will also be included in that notification email. This makes it simple for agents to note additional comments from their inbox. These comments will continue to be recorded as a Note on the contact’s profile.

Carbon Copies on Signature Requests

Creating carbon copies on a signature request.

When sending out contract files for signing, you now have the option to CC agents. This means that once the signing has been completed, a copy of the signed documents will be sent to each of the agents assigned to the contract (at the time of signature request). CC’d agents won’t be required to sign the document.

Demo Accounts

Existing clients will likely never have a need for this feature, but for anyone in the researching phase of selecting a CRM for new development sales, demo accounts will mean a much smoother onboarding process, and a quieter sandbox to explore while you’re getting a feel for the software. We’ve built a new, completely separate demo environment which allows us to quickly set up test accounts, allowing you to test out the Spark platform as the owner of your own Test Company.

When you’re ready to sign on, you don’t have to worry about the demo environment — our customer success team will help set up your real account on spark.re from scratch.
